If you had a wedding day hashtag, what was it? Any fun reason behind it?
#Weddin2Redden - While we were celebrating my sister's bachelorette party in Nashville we were discussing her hashtag and then we started thinking about if I were to marry Jacob what mine would be. I believe my sister was the one who said, "What about Weddin2Redden?" From then it just stuck, but it wasn't a huge aspect of the wedding.
What was your styling inspiration or wedding day vibe you were going for? What inspired you to choose this?
I was going for a more classic, elegant, and timeless look. I loved the idea of doing black and white because those are colors that never trend out. I also wanted to add a little gold in there to give everything a little sparkle. I was inspired after looking through different color schemes on Pinterest and deciding this one just suited me.
Tell us about a special memory from your wedding day, something that will always stand out in your mind ❤️
One memory that will always stand out in my mind would be my father-daughter dance. We did our traditional dance to "Dance With My Daughter" by Jason Blaine. However, after our song ended we did a surprise dance with hit songs. Our guests loved the dances and were cheering us on throughout the entirety of the performance. It opened up the dance floor in a perfect way to get the night started.
What do you admire most about your new spouse?
I admire my husband's determination and work ethic. He is a very driven individual who will accomplish anything he sets his mind to. It is evident in everything that he does and it makes me very proud to be his wife. I strive to have the motivation that he has each day.
Is there anything else you want people to know about your love story? A fun proposal, something crazy that happened on your wedding day, a sentimental memory or even wedding planning tips for future brides!
We are high school sweethearts who survived four years of long distance. We are now finally able to live under the same roof and build the life we have always wanted.
What was your experience like with Adore Bridal?
My experience with Adore Bridal was everything I could have hoped for and more. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with positivity and genuine interest. You could tell that the girls who work there love their jobs and their passion lies with brides and their happiness.
I had the surprise of a lifetime as well when my sister who lives in Germany and works for Adore remotely came out from behind the curtain. I had no idea that she had made the long journey home and was even thrown off by the "phone trouble" she was having with her location a few days prior. In addition, the good luck text I received in the morning made me initially sad, but hopeful that I would find my dress without her presence. Flashback a week earlier when my sister had texted me previously and sent me a picture of a dress with the words, "This is your dress." It was the first one I tried on and sure enough, it was the one I walked out with.
Congratulations to The Reddens! Thanks for sharing your special day with us!
