Our #adorerealbride Cassy married the love of her life Kevin on August 5th, 2023. She shared so much with us about her day, so we are going to get right to it! We are so excited to share their love story! And oh my goodness- these photos are absolutely gorgeous!
What was your styling inspiration or wedding day vibe you were going for? What inspired you to choose this?
My style was very elegant, classic and timeless. Ever since I was little, I always wanted to have the big poofy Cinderella wedding dress. Turns out, dreams do come true!
Tell us about a special memory from your wedding day, something that will always stand out in your mind ❤️
The whole day happened so fast I didn't want it to end. The one part where time stood still was when we said our vows and put our rings on each other. I was a weepy mess through the whole thing, but I tried to speak as loudly and clearly as possible. I've never cried so many happy tears in my life. The peace that comes with knowing that he is mine and I am his, is like nothing else.
What do you admire most about your new spouse?
He is so kind and goofy. He never has a bad thing to say about anyone. He always expects the best in people and thinks "maybe they're just having a bad day". He makes the world a better place by reminding me to have the same kind mindset.
Is there anything else you want people to know about your love story? A fun proposal, something crazy that happened on your wedding day, a sentimental memory or even wedding planning tips for future brides!
He proposed in Hawaii on a company trip! All of our friends were around us on the beach. We took group pics, and then couple pics... he turned to me and asked "one more picture" and then got down on one knee. <3 The funniest part was I knew it was going to happen because he had his hands in his pockets the whole time! Even sitting down, he had his hand in his pocket. Even though I knew it was going to happen, I still cried like a baby.
What was your experience like with Adore Bridal?
I loved Adore Bridal! I wish I didn't find my dress so easily so I could go back and try on more dresses!
