What was the style inspiration for your wedding?

What do you admire most about your husband?

From the moment we met, we were a perfect match. My husband is the most selfless, driven, and intelligent person I have ever met. He constantly makes me feel loved and he makes me laugh day in and day out!

Tell us more about your wedding. Is there a great proposal story? How did you choose your location? Any DIY tips? What else would you want everyone to know about your wedding?

We knew we wanted an intimate destination wedding. Ireland had always been a ‘must do’ on our travel list. We decided Ireland would be a perfect location to gather our loved ones and start a new chapter in our lives. We knew we wanted to keep it simple and intimate so we kept that in mind as we planned everything via Skype and email. The first thing we did was lock down a week where all of our parents, siblings, and nephews could join. We booked a large Air BnB house to hold us for the week. All of our immediate family members live all over the world. With siblings in Germany, England, Texas, and Colorado, we wanted to plan a family vacation with a wedding ceremony in the middle. When it came to the legalities of getting married overseas, we had the help of a relative, Susie, who lives in Dublin. Susie officiates ceremonies in Ireland frequently and was overjoyed to have the opportunity to marry us in her homeland. After quite a bit of research, we decided on marrying at the Seafield Hotel and Spa Resort in Gorey, Ireland. It was the best decision. The staff at the Seafield went above and beyond our expectations. They made our day even more special and the location was perfect. We were able to have the Irish Sea in the distance, take pictures on the seaside, and have an outdoor ceremony. We booked a phenomenal photographer, K Photography. We would recommend our take on a destination wedding to anyone! The key is to keep it simple, and to never lose sight of the reason you are having a wedding. We wanted our special day to be stress-free and spent with the ones we love. Our Ireland seaside wedding was a dream come true. It really was the best day ever!

What was your experience with Adore?

My experience with Adore was nothing but exceptional. My consultant, Lilli, made me feel stunning in the dress that I choose and I ended up customizing my dress by combining two dresses that I loved. I wanted something soft and feminine and I needed something that would travel well. This dress was everything! It survived traveling through the O’hare Airport and made it all the way to Dublin safely. I felt that there was great communication through the entire process…even when the unthinkable happened! I pricked my finger on an alterations pin resulting with a BLOOD STAIN on my perfectly white dress. Everyone was quick to assure me that you would take care of it and everything would be fine. Thank you for calming my nerves and making sure my dress would be perfect for my special day!
