I am so excited to share this amazing bride and her wedding celebration on our blog today as an #adorerealbride. Ashley looks absolutely gorgeous in her 1920’s inspired gown and we loved accessorizing her to help her achieve her perfect look. Go ahead and hear what she had to say about her wedding:

Do you have a special memory from your wedding day?

Seeing my soon-to-be husband in the woods for the first time. After our first look we were able to spend a few minutes alone in the woods together which allowed us to take a step back from the busy day and enjoy each other! Also, bringing in the new year with all of our closest friends and family was something I will never forget!

What do you admire most about your husband?

     His incredibly kind heart.

Tell us more about your wedding. Is there a great proposal story? How did you choose your location? Any DIY tips? What else would you want everyone to know about your wedding?

Bobby and I met in medical school, then got married during our first year of residency (when we were temporarily living in two different states!). We really wanted our friends and family to have fun at our reception, so we decided to have a 1920s theme on New Years Eve. Most of our guests dressed for the theme, and it was so fun! The Pere Marquette Cotillion Ballroom had the perfect look for our theme.

Can you tell us about your experience with Adore?

I had an amazing experience with Adore. When I scheduled my appointment I told them about our 1920s theme and how I wanted something timeless. They had a few dresses picked out for me when I arrived. When I tried on the first dress and fell in love. I didn’t even try on any others! I went back a few weeks later to look for a headband to wear to the the reception and found something perfect.

Are there any vendors that stood out to you as top notch? Who and Why?

All of our vendors were great! Pam Cooley took amazing photos and made us feel so comfortable. Jenni at Loft bridal nailed everyone’s makeup! Micalena Armstrong from Salon True was great (even when I changed my mind on my hair last minute and multiple times!)
