This week we get to hear from Kaylee about her favorite parts of her wedding day.
What was the style inspiration for your dress?
I went into Adore with no idea what I wanted but as soon as I tried on the dress I knew it was the one! I knew I wanted lace and I liked the idea of some sparkle, so when I found one with a unique lace pattern with subtle sequins.. I was in love.
What was the most special memory from your wedding day?
So difficult to choose just one.. but just having all of your favorite people in the same place at once was so special for us. You just want to soak in all those little moments and interactions with friends and family as much as you can, especially since we had so many guests travel to attend our big day.
Tell us more… is there a great proposal story? How did you choose the location? Any DIY tips? What else do you want to share about your wedding?
My husband proposed in the Cardinals dugout at Busch Stadium in St. Louis and arranged for a surprise lunch with our families (who drove three hours!) to celebrate afterward. We have known each other since 3rd grade but didn’t start dating until our senior prom. He truly is my other half, and my best advice to others planning their wedding would be to focus on what’s important to you as a couple for your vision of your big day and don’t stress too much about the little details.
What was your experience with Adore Bridal?
Wonderful. Lauren, my good friend from high school actually helped me find my dress and ideas for accessories. The whole dress finding experience was very comfortable and relaxing, no stress at all!
Are there any vendors that stood out to you as top notch, and why?
Forward//Motion Videography were so easy to work with and so much fun to be around!
Thanks Kayelee for sharing your story and giving us a glimpse into your wedding day! We wish you so many incredible years of rocking awesome love and are honored to have been a part of making your dream wedding come true!

Until next time – XOXO,
