You have been LOVING our February #AdoreRealBride Carson, and we can’t blame you. We had so much fun talking about her dress last week. Bridal gowns are our specialty, but we are also pretty fantastic at helping you design a look for your bridal party. Weddings that we’ve entirely outfitted are extra special to us, and we’re glad to have been such a big part of Carson and Austin’s wedding day. So this week, we’re talking all about the maids and the men.
Selecting a bridesmaid dress can be extremely challenging. First of all, the color of the bridesmaid dress often defines the rest of the wedding décor. It’s a big decision, and we understand that. Then there is the style of bridesmaid dress. If you’ve ever been a bridesmaid who had to wear a dress that made you uncomfortable, you know the importance of making sure each maid wears a dress that flatters their figure and personality. With the decisions of color and style combined, selecting a bridesmaid dress is quite the feat.
But have no fear, we are experts at this! Carson had a fun group of friends with her for her bridal appointment, and they hopped over to look at bridesmaids. Carson was set on her colors already, so that was easy. She had picked out linens with I Do Events, and she knew that her wedding was going to be violet and light green. One of our favorite bridesmaid designers, Bill Levkoff, had the perfect shade of purple for Carson. She selected Bill Levkoff Violet.
Carson had two maids of honor and three bridesmaids. She wanted her maids of honor to wear their own style, and the three bridesmaids selected a style as well. We absolutely love how the different styles turned out. One MOH wore Bill Levkoff 974 and the other MOH selected Bill Levkoff 768. The three bridesmaids wore one of our favorite styles, Bill Levkoff 1113. The variety of styles all in the color violet looked AMAZING!
Austin and Carson were set to have grey tuxedos. It may surprise you, but there are several shades of grey and I think they picked a great one. We designed the look for the groom, groomsmen, ushers and fathers. It’s always fun to compliment the bride and bridesmaids with tuxedos. All of the men looked super sharp, and Carson was grateful to have all of their wedding attire in one place <3
Looking through Carson and Austin’s wedding pictures it is so fun to recall all of the time we spent helping Carson and Austin make decisions and organize their bridesmaids and groomsmen. We are so grateful to have been part of their big day in this exciting way! If you are a soon-to-be-bride, we would love to be part of your day too.
